I moved in with my family today. I live in a bungalow on the patio apart from a lushly decorated two-level town homeish complex. It’s dificult to describe but easy to enjoy.

I live with two remarried widows and another student, who has the run of the top floor, from southern Chile. Between the two they have seven children, I think. Most of them have children. I met and colored with two little ones this afternoon.

There’s a quite little poodle named Tomas about a third as old as Ace, who isn’t here.

The house is eight blocks away from the subway.

Tomorrow I’m going to accompany my houseparents to prospect some land that they bought de recien. It’s about 100 kilometers west, they said. I’ll bring the D50.

Pickpocketers abound in Santiago, apparently. I want to catch one.

A few of us are going skiing (snowboarding) on Sunday. I’m not sure where. The season just started, but right before we flew in more than 30mil of rain had fallen in a span of days.

This afternoon, when the couds finally cleared I could see the mountains from the main strip. You can see them in the Santiago gallery I just started. I didn’t take any of those pictures, but they’re not terrible considering they were taken behind glass.

I need to write a summary of my last few days in Argentina, I know, I know.

For now I think I’m late to dinner.
