I spent most of the weekend indoors content tinkingering with my tech. I revamped my music collection of of over 110GB and almost 20,000 songs. Of course my Nano needed some attention after such an overhaul so it got the treatment as well.

We could also trivialize things and say I’ve had DNS servers around the world propagating alto on my behalf. Mwuhuahaha. No one knows what I’m talking about.

I am also running a newly installed linux-based operating system, Ubuntu. It looks nice (despite that I can’t get my widescreen resolution to work), and feels even better — much better than my bloated XP install which I’m just going to abandon unless I need some specialty app. So that one is my only complaint. Download and burn it, it’s free, and you can boot it from the CD without making changes to your setup.

I’m also finished with one of three outstanding English papers I vowed to complete. This one will be public.

Tomorrow it’s back to Chess and maybe some bouldering. I’m starting to look forward my Chilean perspectives class on Thursdays.
