This “layout” is an intermediate. I just wanted to start posting again. The problem is this: I created a layout in 2001 that featured only horizontal scroll bars. That is, the content was published in columns inside of a wide box and the user had to scroll right to see the next column.

It was hot.

And apparently was only able to do so by exploiting a bug in the way Internet Explorer digests Cascading Style Sheets. If anyone wants more of the tech explanation, here is a good article.
